Children’s Mental Health Photo Gallery
SAMHSA’s 2009 National Children’s Mental Health Awareness Day celebration took place on May 7 at the Harman Center for the Arts in Washington, DC. The youth performers came together from different regions of the Nation for one night of celebration. From spoken word performances to guitar solos, from Native American dance to classical piano, the youth showed how the arts are helping them to thrive in spite of mental health challenges.
