The goal of the Community Prevention Interventions program is to determine how effective the selected prevention intervention model is in preventing, delaying and/or reducing substance use and substance abuse related problems. Units of State and local or Indian tribal governments, and domestic private non-profit organizations may apply. This can include: Community-based organizations, managed care and other health care delivery systems, universities and colleges, faith-based organizations, tribal organizations, and other organizations.
