Once you have determined that the Crisis Counseling Assistance and Training Program (CCP) is the right program for your state, territory, or tribe, you will need to complete the application for funding. This section provides links to the required federal forms and applications, along with step-by-step instructions for completing both the Immediate Services Program (ISP) and the Regular Services Program (RSP) applications. It also contains links to budget worksheets, checklists, and other helpful materials.
The ISP provides funds for up to 60 days of crisis counseling services immediately following a disaster declaration, and the RSP provides funds for up to 9 months following a disaster declaration. Many states, U.S. territories, and tribes apply for both types of grant. If you need immediate, short-term aid, you are encouraged to apply for the ISP. The application for the ISP must be submitted within 14 days of the Presidential disaster declaration. The RSP application is due within 60 days of the Presidential disaster declaration. Before applying for either program, you must assess the nature and extent of behavioral health needs and demonstrate how those needs surpass existing state, territory, or tribal resources.
