Young Adult Resources

As part of our focus on young adults, resources have been collected from national organizations and Federal agencies to address young adult mental health. The resources available are divided by audience and include tip sheets, toolkits, guides, and more.

This listing of resources is not all-inclusive. Inclusion on the listing does not constitute an endorsement by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) or the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

SAMHSA appreciates the support of the Awareness Day Collaborating Organizations in the development of the resource list. For additional resources, visit the individual Web sites of the Awareness Day Collaborating Organizations. We also thank the Caring for Every Child’s Mental Health Campaign’s Young Adult Council for reviewing the resources provided.

These resources are not intended to be used during a crisis. If you know someone who appears to be in crisis, provide him or her with the 24-hour National Suicide Prevention Lifeline number 1-800-273-TALK (8255). Please note that the Lifeline is a crisis hotline, not an information or referral line.

If you or someone you know is in crisis and needs to talk, please call 1-800-273-TALK (1-800-273-8255).
